Luck is online
SOLVERDE Casinos is one of the major gambling players in Portugal, owning five casinos and four hotels across the country. In 2017 they launched their “sixth casino”: CASINO SOLVERDE ONLINE.
Online gambling is booming, so it was only logical that Solverde entered this world with their 43 years of experience in this business.
A massive campaign was though out to communicate the launch of casinosolverde.pt, and that’s where VOLTA came in.
Solverde asked us to develop a straightforward concept to launch their online casino. After several brainstorming sessions and careful consideration, we decided to continue to use a powerful word no other competitor uses other than Solverde: Luck (Sorte). The campaign states that “A Sorte está online” (Luck is online), as we wanted a very direct message, that clearly showed the winning opportunities of the casino’s online website. Its cross platform characteristics (desktop, smartphone and tablet) are portrayed in the different photoshoots created, where we can see a mix between physical and digital worlds.
Three TV spots were also created to further develop the campaign concept, where we used 3D motion techniques on top of real video footage, with a point-of-view perspective that puts us on the winning “player’s seat”.
This campaign was displayed all over the country, both in online and offline channels, showing that with its 6 gambling units (physical and digital) Solverde truly stands as Portugal’s prefered casino.
