When Porto Drive In’s partners met VOLTA, they told us their mission was simple: “We want to take people anywhere they want”.

Having years of experience in the management and hosting areas, they wanted to take the opportunity given by the tourism boom in Porto and Northern Portugal and fulfil their mission. Tradition, experience and uniqueness will be the pillars of the Porto Drive In brand and business: a company that makes the client’s route their choice.

VOLTA was the chosen partner to create Porto Drive In’s identity and tag-line: in an already cluttered market, with so many companies operating tours, we had to distinguish the brand with an unique look & feel, that oozed trust, experience, modernity and a young spirit.

We based our work on a compass: for centuries men have travelled the globe using this instrument, that shows us the right direction, our path, our route. Because the compass always points North, and Porto Drive In operates mainly in Porto and Northern Portugal, the concept fitted perfectly for the brand we wanted to create.

A series of iconographic elements were also created to better show the companies services: Drive me to, Shuttle, Tours and Events. This iconography is used throughout the stationery and merchandising pieces created.

With their “compass” logo, strong typography, tranquil colour palette and easy going photo mood, the brand is ready to take off and take people wherever they want to go. Because they truly believe that “Your route is our choice.”
